Can I leave a job off of an application?

I worked for a cpa and at the time i was dating his granddaughter. Thing was he was phobic and the only reason he gave me the job was bc i didn't have one and he need a Secretary. After about 6 months me and his granddaughter broke up and he fired me soon after. I believe it was bc we were no longer together and he had blatantly admitted that he didn't even want a "" to work in his office. But i missed one day bc i was sick and called and asked if it was ok that i didn't come in if he didn't need me. The next day i went in and he let me go saying it was bc i was missing to much even though i wasn't bc my co-worker was my ride to work at the time. So is it ok that i leave it off my application that i was fired or should i go ahead and put it on there?
