A friend dropped me just because I don't agree with ...?

... all these crazy, conspiracy-laden e-mails he has been sending me (one of them even said Obama was the devil himself and that Queen Elizabeth and Kris Kristofferson were reptilian-human hybrids). He used to be so sweet-natured and in November of 2008 pulled a 180-degree turn. Now, he is plain mean and rude. I tried ignoring his tirades, I've tried saying, "Let's not talk about politics or conspiracies; let's talk about life", but he never listens to me. I know his candidate didn't win, but he's acting like it's the end of the world. If McCain would have won, life would go on for me like it always has. Why do people change like this overnight? (Yeah, I know, I know ... it's part of life ... but gosh ... )
