Help me! I have a crush on one of my best friends and need help?

I have a crush on one of my best friends and I dont know what to do about it. He is very attractive and were both very close and good friends. Sadly, he's not gay. Today he told me he is having a girl come over to watch a basketball game and my stomach just dropped! I am so upset and distraught. I told him good luck, offered him a condom, etc. like a good friend. But I am just so sadden by this. I didnt even realize I had this big a crush on him. What should I do? I dont wana stop being friends with him so please dont tell me to do that. Thanks for the answers!
