What is the name of this app?

it's a game where you have all these little contraptions that you use to beat the level (such as a rope, gears, i believe a cannon, as well as other things), though i do not remember what you are supposed to do. I also believe there is professor/scientist looking man who is (i guess you could say) the mascot (?) of the game.
