Why do the Dems want to eliminate the middle cl?

I had a discussion with a state superior court judge and a couple of attorneys from the DOJ. According to the judge the middle cl is an anomaly and shouldn't exist. He's a outspoken Dem and says there should only be two cles in this country. The ruling cl and those who owe their well-being to them (AKA the poor and former middle cl). He says this is the agenda and Obama will make it happen in 8 years. Everyone except for me seemed to be fine with this.... Naturally he mentioned the fairness doctrine as well and full control of all forms of media and education at all levels. Does everyone really want this???
